According to rumours, all iPhone 15 models will include a USB-C port rather than a Lightning port, and the Dynamic Island will be available for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, as well as the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max. That means Apple will abandon the notch that has been used on the flagship iPhone lineup since the iPhone X in favour of a sleeker, less intrusive design.

The leaker collaborated with MacRumors to provide the first real-world look at the face of the entry-level iPhone 15. The iPhone 15 sports more rounded sides, narrower bezels, and the same pill-shaped notch as the iPhone 14 Pro, indicating the coming of the Dynamic Island on all iPhone models.

Furthermore, leak season appears to have arrived. Shortly after Unknownz21 posted these photographs, CAD plans for the iPhone 15 surfaced, with additional renders of this curvier form turning attention.

The only thing we know about the camera is that Apple has been working on periscope lens technology, which may only be available on the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max variant. Also, the base iPhone 15 is expected to retain the dual-camera setup, with lidar remaining a Pro-only feature.

A periscope lens could provide optical zoom beyond what is currently available, such as 5x or 10x optical zoom. Because the current iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max only have 3x optical zoom, a periscope lens would be a significant improvement. However, it appears that only the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max will have periscope functionality.
